Netatmo Presence camera not uploading videos to local ftp server

Does anyone have a Netatmo working with a Mac storing video to a a local FTP server?

I recently installed a Netatmo Presence camera outside connected to a wifi extender. The camera comes with a small 8GB SD card but the option to download to a personal FTP server. I'm running a Mac Mini (El Capitan 10.11) with an FTP Server from langui.net as a friendly GUI front-end. I added a user "camera" with read/write permission over /Movies/Security. Logs show login ok. I setup the ftp IP and user/pass on the Netatmo webapp and hit "validate". The camera created directories and loaded and deleted a test.txt file. That all seems good but alas no video files are present in the root directory. I've searched in the ~/home/Library/Containers and Cache to see if FTP Server is saving elsewhere but no luck. I walked outside and triggered a recording which shows up in the Netamo webapp recordings but isn't uploaded to the FTP server.

Any one have experience with this setup? Suggestions?

For what its worth I had a look at the https://langui.net/ site and I could not find anything relating to -

They only seem to have a WebDAV tool and an SFTP tool. Despite the similarity of name SFTP is a completely different protocol to FTP and I have asked Netatmo to add support for SFTP several times but they don't seem interested.

Clearly from your later response it seems you have managed to get FTP working. (Mojave no longer includes FTP support.)

UPDATE: I did a search on https://langui.net/ rather than browsing their site and then did find what maybe what you are using. For the benefit of others here are the links.

Anyway, moving on to the more important information. 😁

Dropbox recently changed their terms for the 'free' account. It is now limited to only three connected devices which would include a Mac and any cameras so one Mac plus two cameras would be your limit. 😕

However Apple have announced this week at WWDC that they are adding a new feature to HomeKit called Secure Video. With this HomeKit compatible cameras like the Netatmo Presence will be able to record to your iCloud account and store 10 days of recordings and these will be encrypted. You will need a paid for iCloud account that is to have paid for additional iCloud storage. Free iCloud accounts will not work. Netatmo are listed as going to be one of the first to support this feature.
