Facetime And Imessage

I can not set up my I-message and facetime as each time that I try to enter my apple id it tells me that "an error occurred during authentication." Please help!

Unable to sign in to iMessage and FaceTime on MacOS I am able to use imessage and facetime on my iphone but unable to sign in on my apple silicon m2 macbook pro macOS 14.2 I get an error saying "An unknown error occurred." on the imessage login window and nothing on facetime. I am able to login to icloud on the browser just fine with the same credentials.
