Payment information

My App Store will not allow me to download any apps at all, it says I need to verify my payment. I was on a family sharing plan and it would not accept my information saying it was unable to verify the information. So I took myself off the family sharing plan, thinking it would solve the problem. I tried to download the app again, and it still wants me to verify a payment, but the only payment available is gift cards that I have loaded. There is nothing to verify here, and I still cannot download any apps.
