why starting approximately from 12.3.0 or some minor versions before (and the problem does exist in 12.3.1) maps does not show any public transportation options

Dd you go to settings>maps>transit - turn them on.
Can you not see that on your top photo right under "driving & navigation" it says public transport? Select that and go to the next screen. It is called something else on my device because I am in the USA.
under settings>maps there is no "transit"
