Printer suggestions

I have an older model HP all-in-one printer that is developing connection problems with my Macbook Air running Mojave. Many times I have had to turn off the printer and my laptop, turn back on, then go into the HP app to search for the printer and engage the scan to fax and/or other print functions.

I would like to upgrade my printer but want to find one that is noted for compatibility with my Mac. I am also interested in a printer that prints to 11x17 paper.

MacBook Air 11", macOS 10.14

Look for an airprint supported device. There are lots of brands
