Hold down the home and power buttons together for 10 to 15 seconds, or until the Apple logo appears. Let the iPad reboot.

iPad won't wake I have an iPad Air version 3 and I have consistent issues with my iPad not waking when I press the home button. I have to either do a hard reset and sometimes that doesn't work so I just have to wait a half hour or so and then it will work fine. Generally have to enter my passcode as if it did finally reset. Any way to fix this?
