what You are suggesting is very Apple way of saying. I’m sure everyone has done this. As my previous messages, I have done a lot of experiment with my phone and following up by the adviser, still, the result is nul.. if you could provide some more test or experiment for me to test my phone. I would be happy to hear it. But I’m pretty sure what you are suggesting would be sth I had done in the past...
OK, here's a very simple test. Restore your phone to factory settings and do not restore a backup. Do not add any features, do not log in to your Apple ID or iCloud, and don't create any email accounts. The check your battery performance. If the problem is still present your phone has a hardware problem. Here are the instructions for restoring to factory settings-->Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
iPhone 7, same issue here!

Since posting 1 message it dropped from 10% to 2% within 1 minute ?????
My iPhone 6S battery is also draining rapidly. It says the "Home & Lock Screen" and "Messages" are using it up. I message only two parties, and maybe once a day each. Thoughts, anyone?
I have an iphone 7 plus, and my battery has always lasted through the entire day until this most recent update. Now it only lasts a few hours. Something is wrong here.
YES....battery usage is AWFUL...NEED an update
Same here. It was fully charged at night when I woke up, it was just 2%. I checked the Settings > Battery to see if there was an app running but there was no activity that night.
Reset did not! Help my phone.
I'm the same, goes from 100% to nothing as soon as I try to use the phone for anything. Tried reseting it but still having the same problem.
Me too my iphone 7plus is new. But after i updated it the battery is draining fast. What r we going to do?
Absolutely! It's draining a full battery within an hour.
Nope. nothing out of the ordinary. And it only began after the last update. Any idea what Apple is doing about this?
Me too had same 12.3.1
Dropping from 100% to 20% in under two hours with normal usage. Also struggling to charge from any of my chargers (that all worked perfectly until the latest update).
Any of you guys have an idea about around when the next update (12.4 official) will be released?
