what You are suggesting is very Apple way of saying. I’m sure everyone has done this. As my previous messages, I have done a lot of experiment with my phone and following up by the adviser, still, the result is nul.. if you could provide some more test or experiment for me to test my phone. I would be happy to hear it. But I’m pretty sure what you are suggesting would be sth I had done in the past...
OK, here's a very simple test. Restore your phone to factory settings and do not restore a backup. Do not add any features, do not log in to your Apple ID or iCloud, and don't create any email accounts. The check your battery performance. If the problem is still present your phone has a hardware problem. Here are the instructions for restoring to factory settings-->Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
When iOS 12.4 will be released?
I am having Applie 5S, after 12.3.1 update my battery is daring out in 3 hours. any solution for that ?
and I have the same problem 😣
Same problem here! SE battery draining from 100% to 20% in literally half an hour with minimal use. When is Apple going to fix this!?!
Same here -- iPhone 7 plus on iOS 12.3.1 won't make it through the day. I can watch the power drain. I came here hoping I'd find an answer.
DFWliving - I did post on here what helped me. Battery has stopped draining after my fix.
YES I ALSO HAVING SAME PROBLEM AFTER UPDATE 12.3.1 AND NETWORK ISSUE ALSO
Not once, not twice, tried that three times. Didn’t work for me. Why is the next official update taking soo long. This is the first time a 6th beta has been released for an update.
I'm having same issue. Apples policy seem to be buy new phones
How can user to user community help in such cases anyways?
Problem initiated by Apple, Problem can only be solved by Apple..... users can just share their nightmare with each other :/
Just one hour before updated new iOS 12.4 ......... waiting for the result
Did the update via iTunes. Well the idle drain is still there. Did a restart and a reboot to no avail. Now all I can do is let it sit and maybe go through indexing and see after a couple of days.
Mine too. And the phone front camera gets really hot and my Face ID can’t be use due to hot camera to detect face
Any ways to prevent over heating phone? And battery draining very fast too!
Yup I did and set an appointment for tomorrow to check on the problem. Thanks
