See this thread: Gray boxes in iTunes store - Windows - Apple Community. It should be possible to tweak the iTunes shortcut so it still works while allowing you to set custom DPI scaling elsewhere in your system.

Hello KevSevAZ,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. I understand the artwork in the iTunes Store is not loading. You've reached the right place for help.

Here are some steps that can help depending on the version of Windows you're using:

Windows 10:

1. Right-click on the desktop

2. Select Display Settings.

3. Change the 'Change the size of text, apps, and other items' to 100%

4. Log out of the iTunes Store

5. Once logged back in, check to see if the artwork has returned.

Windows 7 or 8 (you can also do this on Windows 10 as well):

1. Press Windows + R key

2. Enter 'dpiscaling.exe' without the quotes and click OK in the Run window

3. Look for a setting like 'Change the size of text, apps, and other items' which is usually expressed as a percentage (125% - 200%)

4. Set the setting to 100%

5. Log out of the iTunes Store

6. Once logged back in, check to see if the artwork has returned.

Thanks and have a great day.
