Icloud Outlook Add-in missing

When downloading Icloud for windows 10 I get and error message "Repair icloud for windows to use icloud with outlook" When I perform the recommended procedure it just loops back to the same error message. I have a laptop that presented no problem when I did the installation. Comparing the two devices I discovered when in Outlook I execute file/options/add-ins, on my laptop there is an add-in styled "icloud outlook add-in." The add-in is missing on my desktop. I think that is my problem but I don't know how to get the Icloud Outlook Add-in for my desktop. Can anyone help?

If I understand your post correctly, you have been unable to use iCloud for Windows 10 due to an error with Outlook. I’d like to help.

Follow these steps to turn on the Add-in:

Make sure that the iCloud Outlook Add-in is on

The iCloud Outlook Add-in transfers your content between iCloud and Outlook. Follow these steps in Outlook 2010 and later to check and turn on the Add-in:

Select the File menu.

Click Options in the left panel.

Click Add-ins in the left panel of the Outlook Options window.

Look at the list of add-ins in the Active Application Add-ins section. If the iCloud Add-in is listed uner Inactive or Disabled Add-ins, make sure that Com Add-ins is selected in the drop-down menu next to Manage at the bottom of the window. Then click Go.

Select the iCloud Outlook Add-in checkbox, then click OK.

Restart Outlook.
