Safari won't load Youtube

Starting a few days ago, when I try to visit Youtube, it says "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding." All other websites load normally. I don't have the Youtube app and don't want it. I've tried:

Clear history and website data

Remove all website data

Reset network settings

Hard restart

Disabling content blockers

Content restrictions are off

Block all cookies is off

Javascript is on

Not sure what else to try, any suggestions?

Hi MattJ33,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I understand you're not able to access a specific website in Safari.

There are a few steps you might try in this case. First, to clarify, you mentioned resetting network settings; which device is this happening with, and which software version? I ask as this is posted in the Mac forum, and resetting network settings is a function of iOS.

If you're using a Mac, these tests would be a good way to narrow things down:

Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac

How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac

On the other hand, if you're using an iOS device, I recommend testing a different web browser and also making sure you've tested on both cellular data and another Wi-Fi network; do you get different results?

I hope this helps get you started. Take care.

This issue is on an iPod Touch 7 with iOS 12.3.1

I installed Firefox browser and it didn't load the website either. I tested it on a public Wi-Fi network and the website worked. I thought that was strange since the website loads normally on my Mac laptop at home where it doesn't work on my iPod.

Is there something I can fix with my Wi-Fi at home, so it works on both devices again?

Safari won't load Youtube
