Move photos from Amazon Prime Photos to icloud

I have an amazon prime photos account. I would like to move my photos from prime photos to icloud and then close my amazon account. How can I download my 27k photos from amazon over to iCloud?

Are the photos also on your iOS device or just in Amazon's cloud? If the latter then you will have to download them somewhere and the upload them in to iCloud. This was in 2017 but I believe the answer is the same: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8040622
