Move photos from Amazon Prime Photos to icloud

I have an amazon prime photos account. I would like to move my photos from prime photos to icloud and then close my amazon account. How can I download my 27k photos from amazon over to iCloud?

moving photos from amazon to icloud My photos are currently stored in AmazonPhotos. If I start to use iCloud photos, can I move my photos to iCloud and how do I do it? Usually when I share a photo from AmazonPhotos, it gives a link to my photo online, not the actual photo unless I copy it back to my photo gallery. It's a tedious extra step when there are thousands of photos in my gallery.

Is there an easy way to transfer from Google Photos to iCloud? So I've got like 250GB+ of data on google photos, and I would like to move it to iCloud, now that I have a paid subscription on iCloud. I am aware that I can manually download 10GB chunks from takeout.google.com, but this is really cumbersome as Google does not allow automating this (requires logins after every few tens of minutes). I don't have enough storage space to download all onto my disk, and then add to my Photos app either. iCloud has an easy method of migrating data from iCloud to Google Photos. Are you aware of any easy approach to do the migrating in the opposite direction? Google Photos->iCloud? Thanks!

Are the photos also on your iOS device or just in Amazon's cloud? If the latter then you will have to download them somewhere and the upload them in to iCloud. This was in 2017 but I believe the answer is the same: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8040622
