GPU Memory at 100%

Hi, I have an iMac 27 5K, 2019. The GPU is a Radeon Pro 580X with 8GB of GDDR5 memory. When I run iStatMenu I see, that the memory is almost at 100 % all the time, even when I am just using Safari, Outlook and Ulysses to write texts.

My question is: Is macOS not clearing the GPU memory or why is memory usage always so high?

Low Memory notice on 24" iMac M1 I keep getting a Low Memory notice with only Mac Mail and Safari with only 3 tabs open. Activity Monitor shows Memory Used anywhere from 10 to sometimes 12 GB used and telling me that quitting some Apps might solve it. Why and what can I do about it?

Why does a brand new 2023 Apple Macbook Pro M2 keep running out of system memory? Hi everyone, I have a brand new Macbook M2 Pro (16GB 1TB) running on Ventura 13.3.1 that keeps saying it has run out of system memory whilst using a combination of Adobe Bridge, Illustrator, Indd, Photoshop, After Effects & Chrome. Admittedly that's a lot of applications, but my old 2015 model used to cope with all of this just fine. So I'm slightly puzzled and very disappointed that a mac that cost three thousand pounds is struggling to keep up. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how prevent the system running out of memory? Or how easy is it to upgrade to 32GB of RAM? - Would this be worthwhile despite the extra expense? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank-you in advance! Richard. UK.

That seems perfectly normal.

Unless you are seeing any graphics performance degradation, there is nothing to worry about.
