Spoofing??

Hey guys I've been receiving FaceTime video calls from an unknown man, but when my phone rings it shows a friend's contact name I have saved on my phone. However upon answering the call I see an unknown obscene man. When I checked with my friend and he showed me his call log, his call log did not show that he had called me although my call log shows that he had made a FaceTime video call to me. Unlike some other forum posts, it did not show up as a missed call but an incoming call instead. I've tried changing my iCloud password, but the problem persisted...

Edit: I've also enable 2 factor authorisation when changing my password as well.

Do you receive FT calls via your telephone number? It's easy to spoof a phone number and anyone who has that can do it. It's possible that your friend's address book was "harvested" by bots and they are sending the calls to you. This is a known spoofing tactic used in emails. It will be interesting to see if your friend learns of others getting the same.
