Resetting device

upgraded phone, son having old phone, Apple ID showing on old phone - if I do reset/clear content will it clear iCloud contents on new phone too?

Factory reset/iCloud So I got a new phone and want to do a factory reset on my old iPhone so that I can let my mom have it. It’s still connected to my iCloud. Erasing all content and settings Will erasing all content and settings on my old iPhone remove content from iCloud/new phone. I click erase now and it says this will delete all media and data and reset all settings, this is what I want to happen on the old phone just concerned if I click erase it will delete everything from new phone too

When you erase all content on a device, it only affects that device.

I have read the advice but still not clear whether performing Erase all content and settings on the 5c will erase photos etc in 7, as the 5c was using same iCloud account.
