Photos keeps crashing -Crashed Thread: 1 Dispatch queue: Search Index Version Save Queue - help?

Hi, On my wife MacBook Pro, Photos will open for about 30 secs to 1 min, then crash with this report;

I have done a complete new install and then tried to turn on iCloud to start the sync and it happens again and again. Photos works fine on her iPad, iPhone and in the web browser, just not on the Mac... Any ideas?

Try the following in order as needed:

1 - launch Photos with the Option+Command keys held down and repair the library.

2 - launch Photos with the Option key held down and create a new, text library. Add some photos to it and open and close a couple of times. Then try opening the primary library.

3 - if unable to create and run a new, test library log into another user account and try there. This will tell us if the problem is limited to your user account or is system wide.

4 - lastly boot into Safe Mode and try your primary library. Repeat #2 if necessary.

NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 10 minutes as it's doing some system cache cleaning, volume verifying and directory repairing.
