Turning off Passcode and Face ID on my iPhone X

If I turn off the Passcode in settings will th iPhone X then make me use Face ID? I do not want to use any of it I just want to use the phone when I want to. I not all that worried about security in fact I see this as a problem. I used to work retail and I have found a few phones in my years and was able to just call the last person they talked to and told them I found a phone. The owner was always happy I helped them find their phone and they got it back. If my phone is all locked down and I lost it no one could help me in this way.

No passcode = no Face ID. They go together.

I highly suggest you do not disable the passcode. If you do, your lost or stolen phone is re-useable and your data is at risk.
