Horizontal Bars on Display of 2017 Macbook Pro

These black bars suddenly showed up 6 months after warranty expired. It just started with just a few line and now it just keeps getting worse. I had to shut down the computer and leave it for a few hours for the display to return to normal.I already tried everything Apple Support recommended me such resetting this and that but the problem keeps on coming back.

So I opened up and checked the display cables and look what I found.

The right display cable was deformed unlike the one from the left side. My guess is it's because of the heat from the top case which eventually resulted in this. I didn't delve any further since I might risk breaking it.

I've been using this laptop almost for almost 6 hours every single day since I got it. Oh yeah, and my 'N' key sometimes repeats unexpectedly. as well as the up arrow key getting stuck sometimes. What a horrific experience.

So, yeah anyone with the same problem here? I found a page in iFixit with the exact same issue and I guess its more than ten of us affected.

Product Replacement & Data Recovery

If you come across the need to replace all the needed parts, it might be less expensive to go about purchasing a new Mac. Who knows?

If this does not come down to purchasing a new Mac, and all runs fine, create a Time Machine Backup. That way you can use Migration Assistant to get this all back, if this does go down.

However, if this does come down to purchasing a new Mac, see if taking this in for Data Transfer is an option that can be performed.
