Hi. I'm using iMac (Late 2012) and OS X El Capitan. Mail version is 9.3. Is it possible to update only Mail to 12.4. or must I update to macOs Mojave? Mal 9.3 is no more support in my email provider.

High Sierra has Mail version 11.5.
Check to make sure your applications are compatible. .
Also check to make sure there is a compatible driver for your printer.
Do a backup before installing, preferable 2 backups on 2 different drives.
You will have to upgrade macOS in order to upgrade the version of mail you're running.
Do you know what mail version is in MacOs Sierra os High Sierra? I think that Mojave is too much to my iMac.
