Does my name pop up when calling a new number?
I Will keep it short and sweet,
My friend just purchased a new iphone, and gave me his new number so that I could change the contact. As the number is new, and technically both phones have never called each other before, if I call it, will my number pop up on his new phone as unknown, or will my name be seen so he can recognize me?
If I pop up as unkown, does that mean that he would have to manually put in a name associated with that number?
Just to clear up some confusion, he had a samnsung before, and is now switching over to Apple. Thus, there is no way to transfer the numbers from Apple ID. Also, I could not find anything on Google, hence why I am asking here.
