FInd and replace with formating

Hello,

Is it possible to do a find and replace that incorporates formatting? I want to find and replace the the word 'Ingredients' that is underlined and has an increased font size of 16.

The first image is how I want all the find/replace

The second image is what the rest of the document contains.

HI Shadedlight,

Haven't you asked this question (or a very similar one) before?

It has certainly come up recently, and memory (which can be faulty at times) attaches your name to it.

Be that as it may, the answer now is the same as it was then—Find/Replace in Numbers works with content, and does not deal with Format/style.

If you think this is an essential feature (or one that would be useful to a large portion of Numbers users), use Provide Numbers Feedback, found in the Numbers menu, to make a Feature Enhancement request directly to Apple.

Here, you're talking with users of the software, not the developers or development leaders.

Hi MwP

"No need to find a replace if you're changing every single cell's contents to a specific font size."

Not really what Shadedlight is trying to do:

"I want to be able to change each of those words in each cell to font size 18."

My reading is that those words are headings, and that there are other words in the cell that are to be left as is, with normal weight type.

This might be possible with an assist from Applescript. The script itself could prove difficult to write.

Barry

Hi SG,

I have a a numbers table that has over 2000 cells. In each of those cells I have the words Ingredients; Method; Tian Pulse; Fukushin; Signs & Symptoms; Lines

I want to be able to change each of those words in each cell to font size 18.
