Apple Pages for Mac: Convert text to table?
I am guessing the answer to this is "no, not any more", but in Pages, is it possible to convert text into a table? Is there any script that can do this?

No built-in text <-> table conversion functionality, and a script is unnecessary.
See this post, that written for Pages v5, still works today in Pages 8.1.
