Vibrate on phone not working for mail when apple watch is on

I recently set up a new apple watch series 3 and now whenever the watch is paired to the phone, the phone wont vibrate when a new email comes in. As soon as i turn the watch off the mail notification vibrates again on the phone any ideas?

Email notification on Watch does not vibrate like the rest of the notifications I have my Apple Watch on silent mode (but vibrations turned on) and my iPhone on silent mode (from the side switch). Also on my phone I have turned off 'Vibrate on silent' and 'Vibrate on ring'. All my watch notifications are set to mirror my iPhone. All notifications on my phone have sound turned on (including Mail). And now the issue: All notifications on my watch vibrate when they're received, except for Mail notifications. But if I turn on 'Vibrate on silent' on my phone, Mail notifications will vibrate. The rest of the apps' notifications vibrate either way. Does anyone else experience this or is it just me?

how to make apple watch haptic announce mail? I have a series 3 apple watch but I do not the haptic tap when I receive mail. But, the mail is visible on the watch. When I receive other messages messages and notifications the haptic function DOES work. I have the notification set to buzz and announce on my phone and the watch set to mirror my phone. All help gladly accepted. Thanks Barry

Notification sound and haptic for every app on Watch except iOS Mail? So for every single other app I get both notification sound and vibration on my Apple Watch 4, but for some reason for every new email in iOS mail I only get a notification sound? I have tried to check all settings and there is nothing specific for vibration on new mail for iOS mail. Can anyone help please?
