Sleep Wake failure - issue with IONVmefamily

Hello all. I recently got a used mid 2015 MBP with a 1TB Samsung EVO 960 SSD about a month ago. Everything was great, performance was rock solid for the first week and a half or so until one night I set it download and install a VERY large library of audio production software as I slept. (100s of gigs.) When I returned to it in the morning I found it caught in a boot loop. After exhausting all other options I could find online with no success, I went ahead and wiped the drive and reinstalled Mojave. Ever since I have had issues with waking from sleep and with booting up the machine after it's been powered off.

When it goes to sleep and I try to wake it up I usually just get a black screen. Sometimes the keyboard lights up but the apple on the back cover does not. I then hold down the power button until it shuts down completely. It usually will not boot back up unless I follow SMC reset steps. If I set the machine to never sleep, I have no problems with it. Even if I power off manually, it will boot back up with a normal press of the power button as long as it has not gone to sleep and become stuck before hand. Operation of the machine once it is booted is solid. I have run etresoft check, Drive Dx, Apple hardware test, and Apple's Drive repair. All utilities report that the computer is in perfect health. I even wiped the drive and reinstalled the OS a second time, leaving it with no other apps installed and no peripheral devices connected, just to make sure that the problem was repeatable with a freshly wiped machine and it still exhibited the same behavior.

This is driving me nuts!

Kernel Panic report is below. It is the same report every time the computer wakes from sleep. It happens 100% of the time the machine wakes.
