Where do I go to find system preferences? Cannot log on to anything on Icloud>

System Preferences is on the Apple menu on Mac computers. If you are asking about an iPad, there is no option that is named "System Preferences." The closest equivalent is the Settings app on an iPad.


Also, if you mean that you are trying to use an internet browser to log into iCloud.com from an iOS device, be aware that on an iOS device iCloud is designed to be viewed by using the apps on the device (e.g., the Files app for iCloud Drive, the Photos app for iCloud Photos, the Notes app for notes, etc.).


Also note that while you can view synced data as described above, it is not possible to view the contents of an iCloud Backup. You can only use the backup to do a full restore of a device or to setup a new device.
