Limited warranty

i recently cracked my iPhone XR and in my settings I saw a thing about a limited warranty and I was wondering if I had to buy it or is it already available until the expiration date?

The Apple One (1) Year Limited Warranty doesn't cover accidental damage. The cost of an out-of-warranty screen replacement for the XR is $199 US. iPhone Screen Repair

Your limited warranty is already available, as your iPhone is less than one year old.

However, the warranty is indeed limited.

Visit an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Center and they will advise you about the repair.
