Logic Default PPQ

Hello...I've just started recording MIDI with Logic, and I had always heard that Logic recorded MIDI data at a resolution of 960ppq. However, when I was doing my first recording today, it seems to only be recording at 240ppq. After I recorded a passage, I went into an event last to subtly move some notes around and it's only letting me place events with 240ppq precision which is really pretty coarse. Is there something I'm missing or a setting I need to change to have the full resolution? Thanks...!

You're reading the event list incorrectly It has to do with the time signature/divisor you have set. 4/4 at /16.

the first (left) number is the bar, the next is the beat the next number (4) is what the quarter note is divided into.. When you turn over over from 240 to 1 you've edited a 16th note. 4 X 240 = 960. Note: the divisor can be adjusted if you would like to see 960.

The transport at screen top can be set up with a custom display, right click on it and look at your options... you will see time signature and divisor.
