Serial Number

I'm trying to trade in my iPad Air 2 and when I type in the serial number, it says the serial number is invalid. What does this mean?

serial number I have an iphone 12 pro max and the serial number on it has slashed zeros (ø) and so when I enter the serial number for a trade-in, it comes up as invalid. I have tried replacing the slashed zero (ø) with a normal zero (0) and an upercase letter "O" and it still comes back as invalid. How do I enter the serial number in?

It does this if you are using Chrome. Use Safari and it works.

You're like the 3rd person to ask this question today. I'm thinking there could be an issue with the trade in your device link. Contact Apple Support for help with this. You can use the contact support button at the top of this page.
