kernal_task macbook pro 2016 unusable

kernal_task can go as high as 500-1000%, happens randomly, tried all the fixes everyone else has mentioned. Only have the problem on Mojave, not Sierra. Battery says "Service Battery". Wondered if that had anything to do with it. "Service Battery" shows only on Mojave not Sierra


Does anyone have any idea what these console messages mean? Tried googling and found very little on PtASPlugInDevice.
