iCloud shows FULL even though I have removed all files and disabled iCloud drive on my Mac

Hi there

I was using iCloud Drive for a while, I was on the 50GB storage plan using about 16,5GB of it, and after a couple of months, decided to change over to another cloud storage option. I removeed all my files from the icloud drive, but it still shows that my storage is FULL and that there is 16,5GB of document storage still being - used even though I have removed all files from the iCloud folders both on my Mac and online. I even disabled iCloud drive storage on my Mac. Yet when I log on to my profile on icloud.com I get the warning that my iCloud is full and that I will not receive emails to my email box.... Where am i suppossed to delete the files from?

~library/mobile documents/apple etc has disapperaed too

Any ideas?

Turn on iCloud Drive once again , click on options let the box of desktops and documents be checked , if you had deleted all files and documents from iCloud Drive same will be deleted from iCloud server .

Not even files / documents are stored in the iCloud mails , notes , calendar , photos ...are also saved in iCloud , you can see this article https://support.apple.com/kb/ph2608?locale=en_US

You can reduce the space see these articles https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT204247
