iPod Classic 160gb stuck in disk mode

I have an iPod Classic that's stuck on disc mode.

When I try to reset it, the apple logo shows for a few seconds, then says "Use iTunes to restore" and the screen goes black again immediately. If I try to connect it to my PC, iTunes won't recognize it. In my device manager doestn't show as a portable device either, it shows as a disc drive. I've tried updating the drivers, checking the status of Bonjour and Apple Mobile Device services won't work.

Any idea of what should I do to make it work again? Thanks
