Macbook Air as a second monitor
Is there a way to use a Macbook Air as a second monitor? I know I can use a iMac to extend the Air's screen using 'Command' + 'F2' but I would like to do the opposite and use the Air to extend my iMac's screen.

There were some old responses to this question referring to a solution using "ScreenRecycler". However, the site looks quite dated and I'm weary of using a program that may no longer supported.
No.
You are correct, Screen Recycler has been around for close to 15 years, I never recommended it even back then as the performance was horrible. If you want a second display you should just buy one.
