File name won't go away during quicktime playback

When I play a video in quicktime player, the file name shows not only on the top bar, but on a secondary bar just below the first. When I'm not in full screen, it goes away with the other bar and the HUD.

However, it will not go away in fullscreen. Does anyone know how to make it go away? I've checked to see if there are any settings to change, nothing has helped. I've been using vlc in the meantime, but the experience just isn't as sleek as it was with quicktime.
