my iPhone XR overheated and it caused moisture in the cameras. The cameras worked when fogged; however, the next morning they were cleared and my phone was telling me it was unable to access the cameras or enable Face ID. Does anyone know how to fix this? I’ve tried restarting several times.

Camera and flashlight stopped working after 13.6 As soon as I updated to 13.6, my Face ID stopped working along with both the cameras and so has my flashlight. Both cameras have a black screen. Contacted Apple and they said it’s a hardware issue and I have to buy a new phone! There’s no physical damage to my phone and this happened right after the update. Tried everything from resetting to a clean restore, no joy. Anything else I can try?

After update to ios14, on my iphone xs max , both cameras and flashlight doesn't work. Most forum entries write, that the problem exist mostely on iphone 7 devices. I have the same problem with an iphone xs max. I realized the problem as face ID don't work anymore eather. Please fix the issue ASAP! After a Diagnose, Apple support told me that the problem rest in a sensor failure of the camera, and i have to send the device in to fix the issue. I am quite sure that the problem is caused from the IOS 14 update and must be a software problem. Otherwise, other users wouldn#t have the same Problem. Anyone solved the Problem with an "Reset All Settings" or an "ERASE ALL CONTENT AND SETTINGS"????

There's no way you fix it yourself.

Bring to a Genius Bar or the nearest Apple Authorized Service Provider.
