Problem with IPhone 8 bluetooth connecting to car handsfreelink

I had been using my IPhone 8 paired with my honda civic hands free link bluetooth connection well. However, this morning the connection seemed to be not connecting, not playing my music. So in bluetooth settings I decided to click forget this device for hands free link and reconnect for a new connection. Since I clicked forget this device I have been unable to re-discover the hands free link on my IPhone. When I try to pair my device from my cars screen it shows my IPhone name but greyed out.
