Apple Pen Engraving
The issue that I have is not too serious, but I was wondering if someone working for Apple might be able to get this message to someone who has control over such things:
I'm considering buying an iPad Pro, and I'd like to get the stylus. When ordering online, you can get it engraved for free! My first thought was to write my last name, thinking that maybe one day I'd drop it at work or something, and people would see my last name and know that it's mine. However, my last name is 16 letters long, and you're only allotted 15 characters.
I'm wondering if Apple could fix this problem, as trivial as it might sound, so that maybe 20 letters are allowed for people with really long names? This would be more inclusive, and also allow for people with hyphenated last names too (maybe even allot 28 characters to spell antidisestablishmentarianism -- just to go further).
Does anyone know if this is a possible change? Could someone working for Apple let me know if you bring this problem up the command chain to whoever could implement the fix? I feel like it's reasonable to make room for 1 more letter, but as long as it doesn't affect the electronics of the pen, more characters should be allowed I think.
Thanks!
