Missing icons in iTunes 12.9.5

I am running iTunes 12.9.5 on Windows 10 (1903), both of which are up to date. When I installed 12.9.5 a weird bug surfaced in the TV Show and Movie stores. Large media icons are rendered, but small icons are not. (I just get dark grey boxes.) However, when I click the small icon media items to go to the description / download pages, the icons then appear, sometimes right away, sometimes up to 20 seconds later. What is the problem? (Please don't tell me I have a "corrupt" installation.)
