XR water resistant

I bought the Iphone XR in April 2019 from the Zorlu Apple in Istanbul. I took a photo in the water 5 days ago. After that there was no problem. But following morning it didn't work. Zorlu Apple didn't change it or help us because there is water in the iPhone. They said, XR is water resistant. Apple's website says it's water-resistant. XR's camera takes pictures even in the water. Zorlu Apple didn't help us at all. We need urgent solution many thanks in advance. See our application to Zorlu Apple.

Water-Resistant does not mean Waterproof. No phone is waterproof. You should have never taken your Xr into the water. Because Apple doesn't cover any water damage. Now Apple will replace your phone but it will cost you. Even if you have AppleCare+ there's a fee.

An IP67 or 68 rating is not a guarantee against damage. It merely means they stand a better change of surviving splash or minor water exposure than an unrated phone would.

Any water damage voids your warranty.
