MacBook Pro 15inch 2019 - OVERHEATING

I am already visited your Apple support they can not solve my problem. They only scan hardware say all is good. it's my first and very bad worst experience Apple Product.

your lucky yours is a day old so could take it back. They won't do anything for me! £1200 down the drain.

Similar issue with 2019 MB Pro 15 32gm ram i9 2.4 with Vega 20. Frequent kernel attacks and the machine runs very hot even when idle. Reset pram and smc but problems persist. Also not impressed with the performance running photoshop. Doesn’t feel as good as my 2013 Mac Pro trashcan.

The fans run in a feedback loop. They run faster when the measured temperatures inside your Mac get higher, so that they can provide more cooling. Racing fans are not the problem, they are the solution. They are working to remove heat buildup.

Apple does not advertise ANY computers to be used adjacent to your body. Their small portable computers are called "Notebook" computers, and they are not intended to be placed directly on your lap. The computer should be placed on a flat, smooth surface for optimum airflow, never on fluffy fabric or clothing. You can buy a very inexpensive "lap desk" -- a bean bag with a hard flat top -- if you wish to use these computers on your lap.

The top plate adjacent to the keyboard is not a palm rest, and if you routinely rest your palms there, you will likely soon be suffering from a repetitive strain injury such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, from not keeping your wrists in a "neutral" position while typing.

Yes the aluminum enclosure heats up. But the computer does not overheat, and finding that it is hot is not an indication that your computer is defective, only that it is working hard.

Perhaps you should consider a computer that is far less capable, and therefore is capable of generating far less heat while it slowly grinds away at the tasks you give it.

I read this and my macbook pro was on my duvet on my bed and the fan was going crazy, but as soon as i lifted my computer up so air could circulate freely, the fan immediately started slowing down and now my computer is silent.... thanks!

My 2014 Macbook Pro did the exact same processes with the exact same applications and didn't overheat like this.. I compared the two TODAY. Same software, same applications, same EVERYTHING.. Only the computer is different. This comment is completely untrue. There is something wrong with these computers.

No external display.. brand new 13” 2019 MacBook Pro. Full charged it once approximately 20 hours.

This is my 3rd MacBook Pro.. been using MacBooks since 2007. Never had issues like this. Both other machines have been FANTASTIC!

2014 model used to be able to go unplugged for 6-8 hours easily. Was hoping better for this one.. Barely getting 2 hours!

Burnt through 10% of my battery in 15 minutes of use.. This is ridiculous! And on a brand new machine

I can’t even use google photos without My MacBook Pro having an overheating attack!
