My phone was repaired this morning, after it stopped working. Now I am stuck as there is an Activation Lock on the home page.....Its asking me for my iCloud ID and password.....I have no idea what it was......I am totally stuck.

take it back to the shop and ask them if they activation locked your phone to one of their Apple IDs.
Yes, you can click on the Contact Support link at the top right of this page to start the process, but since you had a 3rd party shop work on your iPhone they may not work with you. Did you perhaps buy this device used? If yes, then you have run into Activation Lock and the reason you don't recognize the Apple ID is it was put on by a previous user. If that is the case the only way you will be able to unlock it is to find that user and Apple will not help with that. The other possibility is the account belongs to someone at the 3rd party repair shop.

You will also need to recover that iCloud account. It is yours, so you should remember something. Generally it is your Apple ID.
Where did you get it repaired?
This morning in Karachi, at a mobile repair shop. :( I just read online that the phone needs to be signed out of Find My iPhone on iCloud or something before being repaired. But I could not do that....as my phone would not switch on for the last 2 days. That is why I had given it for repair.
That is the thing. It is asking me for an iCloud account password.....I think I have the right iCloud ID but for password recovery it is not accepting the email that I use......Its some other email which I have no knowledge off.......This is so frustrating.
