weather widgets on MacBook air dashboard

I can see that others have the same problem with the data having disappeared. Someone seemed to have solved it but didn't say how.

Can anyone help?

Weather widget gone after osx 11.6.8 update It took me 5 attempts, over the course of 6 hours, to get the latest osx 11.6.8 Big Sur update today to download and install on my MBA. My MBA has the 1.6 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5, with 58.44GB still available (after the update) on the 121GB Flash drive unused (my MBA is not my primary Mac, just the one I travel with). So memory/storage wasn't an issue. Yet, after the update finally finished installing (which, btw, took over 2 hours to complete, even with no other devices using the wifi this morning at my house 😫) I now find the Weather widget has disappeared. It's not in my Applications or Utilities folder either. Any idea if that was intentional? Do I now have to go to the Apple Store to download it again, and maybe pay for it, or should I just get some other weather widget? If I get a different one, what do you recommend?

Blank weather app MacOS ventura The weather app in macOS Ventura (13.5) is completely blank (see screenshot). The widget appears to be working correctly, but clicking on the widget gives a blank screen. Is there any way to debug this and find out what's causing the problem? (I do say that on my other MacBook Pro (14", M1, 2021), the Weather app is working fine)

Mac OS Ventura Weather App Not Working I have an iMac M1 and I'm using the latest Mac OS Ventura version 13.0.1. My question is the built in weather app on this device isn't working, I also have an Macbook Air M1 and the app works fine on it btw. On my iMac M1 though it doesn't show a location and I can't even add a location it's just greyed out. I've reset my identifier multiple times and checked to make sure locations is enabled but nothing seems to help. Has anybody else had this trouble and if so was you able to fix it and if you did how? Also I'm attaching a screen shot so you all can see what I am seeing exactly. Thanks, Daniel

Hello,

You will need to reach out to the widget’s publisher for further assistance. It may be a good idea to start looking for a solution that utilizes Notification Center widgets as future releases of macOS will no longer include Dashboard.
