Slow Charging/Computer shows USB error when iPhone plugged in.

When I plug my iPhone 7 Plus in to charge, by either electric or by computer USB, it charges extremely slow. I have tried using different cables and wall plugs and still the same thing. Also, when I plug my iPhone into the computer it states " The last USB device connected to this computer malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it. " I have not had it exposed to water, dirt, or any impact as it is protected by a very durable protective case. Can anyone help?

See this support guide and follow all the steps provided (charging port cleaning included:--> If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't charge - Apple Support

If you get no improvements, have your device inspected at an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider: Apple – Location Selector

As far as USB port on your computer, try a different one and DO NOT use USB hubs.
