I have recently tried to trade in my old iPhone 8 to buy a new iPhone off the apple store but whenever I type in my serial number, it says "Error, serial number invalid". I got this phone for Xmas two years ago from the apple store. Can anyone help with this issue. Attached is an image of the issue.

If you had used copy paste to enter serial number, try entering it manually. letter by letter, number by number
I did just that. Same thing happened when it added it automatically
