So I can add a graphic and/or I can add a link but I cannot add a link to a graphic.
Every time I add a graphic and I try to click on it it add the link a pull down arrow appears in the upper right hand corner. There is nothing in the menu that is helpful.
I even tried first add the link to the graphic in another program and then bringing it in and that did not work either.
Any suggestions?

Yes I know. I corrected my post. You can't create a signature with an image with an embedded link. You can however, when you are composing an email, select the image in the signature, chose "Add Link…" or press "command K" to insert the link. You have to do that for each email.

The only way to add a link to a signature graphic is at the time you are composing the email.
You're welcome. I agree it would be better if you could just do it once while creating the signature. From what I've heard it was possible in an earlier version of OS X. I don't know why it changed.
