Apple AirPods 2 not displaying settings

So I’ve bought a new pair of second gen AirPods and when I connect them and go to Bluetooth on my iPhone settings and tap the Little i button with the circle around it next to my AirPods, the only options it gives me are “disconnect” and “forget this device”. There’s nowhere to change the AirPods name or edit the the tap controls. I was hoping someone had an answer for me.

Hi TheFloof,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today. It sounds like you don't see all the options you're expecting for your AirPods in Settings.

For reference, this is what you should be seeing on this page: Adjust the settings of your AirPods

Try resetting your AirPods using these instructions: Reset your AirPods.

Also be sure your iPhone 6 Plus is updated to iOS 12.4: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Have a fantastic day!
