Why can't you come up with better solution to maintaining original photo/file dates when transferring from iPhone to MacBook Pro. Ridiculous to have to go through any steps. Transferring 1000-5000photos! There should just be a one click choice before the import/export step to chose which date you want. Transfer date or original date the photo or video was taken. Simple!

Here in the Apple Support Communities your request may get overlooked, since this is primarily a user-to-user forum, and the developer team may not necessarily see your request. You are not alone with this request. Quite a few users have complained, that the file creation dates change, when image files are transferred between devices.
