Why won’t my Apple Pencil 1st generation connect to my 1st generation iPad Pro, I’ve charged pencil all day then connected it to the lightning charger point on iPad where it says pair, as soon as I pair it says connected then instantly unpairs, I’ve reset iPad, turned Bluetooth off & on , pressed forget device and tried again still to no avail can anyone help or had same issues, thanks

Lets try to reset network settings.
Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset network settings

Just tried no change, can’t even see if pencil is charging as won’t connect, it connects for about 1 second then disconnects
