Play songs like this

I don’t subscribe to Apple Music nor do I want to. I’ve loaded all my cd’s and downloaded from other sources all the music that I like. Until about 3 weeks ago I could play a song and ask Siri to “play songs like this”. Siri would create a playlist on my phone from my library. Now when I do that Siri responds “To do that you’ll need an Apple Music subscription.” What happened? Now apple is trying to force me to subscribe and pay for Apple Music just to use that feature. I understand that I’ll be able to access more music but i’m happy listening to my own library and not paying.
