I upgraded to 10.14.6 on July 22. After that, I had a kernel panic on July 25 and twice today. Could anyone help with it?

Same thing happening to me.

Here is what I'm seeing:

  1. fails after random amount of time when my webcam is on while using: Facetime or Zoom. Sometimes as little as 1 minute in to the call. Sometimes as much as 25 minutes into the call.
  2. has never failed when using zoom without the webcam on.
  3. I tried the SMC reset. No change.

I'll update with any new information if / when I have it.

Well, my Mac with replaced internals just did it again this morning. Was flawless for about a week, this morning it crashed after 5 min. but then after a reboot I was able to Skype without any issue for 30+ minutes. It shows the same error message in the logs as the ones posted here.

Contacted Apple Support again, and we'll see what happens from there.

I am having exactly the same issue with MacBook Pro 2019 after MacOS upgrade to 10.14.6. This is MacOS bug which should be fixed by Apple. The log file is the same:

Update from Apple: The engineers are aware of this exact issue, they have numerous reports and are currently working on a fix. It is most likely a software bug which most likely will be fixed with an update, but the senior advisor does not have detailed information about that. He also said he does not know if the fix is going to be released as a Mojave Supplemental Update or if it gets included into Catalina.

Macbook Pro 15 (2019) 10.14.6, same problem here.

FaceTime, Skype, Teams, Hangout, they all reboot the system (kernel panic) after some random time of CAMERA use.

The Apple support said that everything is fine with my macbook, after bringing it back home, it reboots again, same thing over and over again.

I'm a dev working remotly, videocalls and develoment is what make my living. Please, fix this apple!

They sent me a key to download some sort of data collector (apple's) app, I downloaded and ran the app in clean macOS installation, then I sent 200 mbs of data to them.

They said that based on this data they will take action (exchange or repair). By the way, the machine is like 15 days old.

The tech support person said I may have an anwser early tomorrow. Lets see...

Apple just now released a supplemental update for 10.14.6 which is supposed to fix sleeping Mac's that crash and other things. Installing it right now, will report in a couple of days if it fixed the issue for me.

After installation: macOS 10.14.6, Build 18G95, T2 firmware was updated to 16P6571, Boot ROM stayed at 220.270.99.0.0.
